The duo behind the songs

Written at home, sung together

We are a husband and wife who write country gospel songs at the kitchen table and sing them in close harmony. This is the music we make, and the people who hear it are the reason we keep making it.

How we work

A partnership built on shared songs

Our songs begin with a melody one of us hums while the coffee brews, then move to the table where we shape each line together. We keep the words honest and plainspoken, the way we would say them to a friend.

When a song is ready, we sing it in two-part harmony, trading the lead as the verses ask for it. Every recording and performance is one we chose to share as a couple.

Where the songs come from

From first melody to shared harmony

01

Melody first

A tune arrives on a porch or in the car, and we keep it until it feels right to both of us.

02

Words at the table

We write verses and choruses around the kitchen table, reading each line aloud until it sounds true.

03

Harmony together

We arrange the vocals in two parts and rehearse until the voices sit together as one.

04

Shared with listeners

We bring each finished song to the people who want to hear it, sung the way we wrote it.
